pingMonitor is a simple script to issue one ping to a specific IP address, log
the result, and exit.

Call as:

pingMonitor 1.1.1.1

Replace 1.1.1.1 with the IP to monitor.

It is designed to be run from a cron job.

Results are stored in /var/log/ping_monitor.log. Currently set up to be human
readable, though they can be parsed with a script fairly easily.
